This is the first time I'm linking up for Friday's Letters. I love reading everyone else's so I might as well roll with them!

Dear Jeff,
I know you love playing basketball, but I do not like having to go through bathtime with the kids by myself.

Dear Ashtyn,
Little Love, why can't you be more cooperative about nap time? It used to be so easy! And will you try to eat something other than chicken nuggets and yogurt? Please? For me?

Dear Lincoln,
Sweetheart, I love you too, but Mommy can't hold you ALL the time. (Oh, and please please please say "Mama" first! Let's practice again, "Ma-Ma.")

Dear Director at Work,
Thank you. It was a happy day!

Dear Friday,
Thank you for showing up just when I need you. But I'm thinking I need Chinese take-out tonight, not pizza. Don't freak. We'll be back to normal next week.

Dear Blog Readers,
I SO love you guys and thank you for reading all my rambling!

Dear Joffrey from Game of Thrones,
I really don't like you and hope someone poisons your drink soon.

  1. Haha. Is it bad that I have a cat that wants to be held almost all the time? Or at least be near me? (Not the same as a baby, I know... but I kinda get where you're coming from.)

I found you through Friday's Letters. You're a part time book editor? That's so awesome.

    New follower!

  5. Oh I keep hearing about Game of Thrones but I haven't read those books before! Are you reading them or watching the show? (someone told me there is a show). Do you recommend them?

    1. Jeff and I are ADDICTED to watching Game of Thrones on HBO. I do recommend (with the disclaimer that it's on HBO so . . . I would just say expect it to be R-rated.) I've heard the books are good too, but haven't read them! (They look really long.)

So...do I need to get in on this "Game of Thrones" action? Everyone seems to be talking about it and I'm so out of the loop!!

    1. Hi Dana! If you're okay with medieval-ish violence, some racy stuff, and a host of good characters and good plotlines--then I recommend it!

  12. Brandy, I'm totally with you on the Joffrey thing. I really hate that kid. I did read the books (well, not the newest) and they are good, with the same comment that they fit on HBO. Martin has an amazing ability to create characters. They are the most life-like and complex characters I've ever read about!

I've seen other Friday's Letters posts. might have to get in on that...
